SST expands the Maisach site - the innovation center for electron beam technology and EB welding processes is growing.

Steigerwald Strahltechnik invests in further research and development in electron beam technology and has further expanded its in-house technical center.

On the one hand, it is about securing and constantly promoting quality assurance, but on the other hand it is also about future-oriented research in electron beam technology, EB welding processes and electron beam machines of the future.

SST has always maintained intensive contacts with its customers in order to work with them to promote the development and improvement of machine concepts and production processes. For this purpose, the SST Technical Centre has the latest measuring equipment for electron beam technology in general and for the SST EB welding machines in particular at its disposal.

In addition, the specialists at the technical center work closely with institutes and universities to investigate the latest processes and applications in EB technology and bring them ready for the market.
